Members of peasant groups and civil society organizations held a picket rally today at the headquarters of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to serve the indictment on human rights violations committed by the regional multilateral institution.

It is a complex apparatus for the creation of ever more favorable market mechanisms and opportunities for the expansion of capital and the accumulation of profits.

ADB to face charges before international opinion tribunal for rights violations

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will take the heat in Bali from civil society and the vulnerable sectors in the Asia Pacific region for charges of human rights violations in a two-day international opinion tribunal.
